A bunion (also referred to as hallux valgus or hallux abducto valgus) is often described as a bump on the side of the big toe. But a bunion is more than that. The visible bump actually reflects changes in the bony framework of the front part of the foot.
Ingrown nails, the most common nail impairment, are nails whose corners or sides dig painfully into the soft tissue of nail grooves, often leading to irritation, redness, and swelling. The big toe is the most common location for this condition, but other toes can also become affected.
Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present. Heel pain may also be due to other causes, such as a stress fracture, tendonitis, arthritis, nerve irritation, or, rarely, a cyst.
A prescription foot orthosis is an in-shoe brace which is designed to correct for abnormal foot and lower extremity function (the lower extremity includes the foot, ankle, leg, knee, thigh and hip).
A neuroma is a thickening of nerve tissue. The most common neuroma in the foot is a Morton's neuroma, which occurs between the third and fourth toes.

Dr. Carson is the BEST! He very knowledgable and eased all my fears! He talked me through the whole procedure. The front office staff was very nice and efficiently got me in and out. I would recommend this office to anyone! Thank you guys so much!
Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend!!
Great job repairing my ankle. Attention to detail was appreciated & he even took time to show me where the most tissue was removed during surgery.
Great service at Ankle and Foot Cliic in Norman. The Doctor was very professional. Got there early and got in early.
The office staff were polite, friendly, and efficient. They were able to get us in right away. Dr. Carson was great! He made my son feel comfortable through the whole process. We'll definitely go back every time we need their services!
I have had 5 feet surgeries and my last 3 were from this clinic. Dr. Anderson was phenomenal! I was only 14 when he did my 3rd surgery and he made sure I was comfortable the entire step of the way. Not only was the doctor amazing, but even when my aunt went back for my records (2 years later) the nurses and receptionists still remembered both of us! I would recommend this clinic to any one with foot and ankle problems.
Dr. Anderson made orthopedics to go in my shoes & relieved all my pain from the 5 bone spurs I have in my feet
Everything was Great and they explained it thoroughly before doing any procedure. Would highly recommend them.
